Kevin Massey | Broadway Performer

A native of Asheville, NC, Kevin Massey graduated from UNC-Chapel as a Morehead Scholar thinking he wanted to be a doctor. Life happily lead him into the arts and most importantly, to his wife, Kara. As Laura and Almanzo, they married each other every night in LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRAIRIE, the musical, at the Guthrie Theater and toured North America together. Kevin has been lucky enough to play the leads in the Broadway productions of TARZAN, MEMPHIS, A GENTLEMAN’S GUIDE TO LOVE AND MURDER and Deaf West’s sign language revival of BIG RIVER. He also toured Europe as a lead in GREASE! and a German production of TARZAN, and most recently starred as Monty Navarro in the 1st national tour of the Tony Award ® Winning A GENTLEMAN’S GUIDE TO LOVE AND MURDER. Some of his other favorites include originating leads in THREE MUSKETEERS at Chicago Shakespeare Theater, ANTONY & CLEOPATRA with New York City Opera at Carnegie Hall, BONNIE & CLYDE at Asolo Repertory Theatre, and BELLA: AN AMERICAN TALL TALE at Playwrights Horizons. Kevin also helped develop early stage productions of Disney’s HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL and HUNCHBACK of NOTRE DAME. Dan’yelle Williamson is a Broadway veteran with a passion for storytelling. Last seen as Christine in August Strindberg’s play “Miss Julie” in NYC. Broadway: Tony Award Winning “Memphis,” “Scandalous” and “Rocky.” Other credits include Deloris Van Cartier in “Sister Act” (Riverside, Walnut, and St. Louis Stages Theaters), Nala on the “National Lion King Tour,” Elphaba in “Wicked” Chicago, and Nina Simone in the Off-Broadway Production of Soul Doctor. Her voice can be heard on the Motion Picture Soundtrack, 12 Years A Slave. Williamson was nominated Best Actress for Broadway World’s St. Louis Award!
